Bad news. Yesterday, itch shadowbanned my game with almost half a million downloads with no warning what-so-ever. This isn't the first time I've been pushed off a platform - and I'm unsure if I'll be able to get it back on.
I've put a lot of work into this game. It taught me how to stick to project long term, helped me improve in my art, taught me how to code, and gave me a shot at a future where I can be an independent artist.
Due to these new restrictions - my livelihood is at risk, along with thousands of other independent creators that make adult work. I don't want over 5 years of work down the drain just because a credit card company doesn't agree with what I want to put into my personal projects - and what YOU as a consumer are allowed to see.

If you'd like to support my work and help development continue, consider getting the download on Subscribestar- currently the only legit way of downloading my projects. I'm looking to raise it to about $2000 a month to make up for the losses I will be taking from itch.io - to keep myself stable in making ends meet.
Consider it to get exclusive access to game builds, comics, art and more. I always try to make sure your donation is worth it every month.
I'll continue development through thick and thin, but support is always appreciated.
Just to be clear this is happening to NSFW creators and Devs across the board, not just me. It really is a shame it's getting harder and harder to have a space where adult artists can make a living off their work.

The old capitalist chap has been trying to cross the line for a long time, and now it's time for the NSFW game. We couldn't have experienced so many great games anymore! Pornographic elements aside, some games are of good enough quality, and the old men who control the payment channels and the extremely conservative organisations try to deprive players of great games, and game makers lose their livelihoods, another evil work of capitalism.
Sir no matter how they suppress it, I have to find a way to fight, I'm not a good NSFW player, but thanks to these old capital guys, I'm going to download all the great NSFW games, and I'm going to see if their hands can reach into my laptop.
With the news of other censorship goings-on in the UK, Australia and the US, I have to wonder if there isn't something bigger at play than just what we're seeing?
Don't worry it will be over eventually these things don't last and people wouldn't allow it.

Well my time on this site was already starting to vanish Id say move to F95 but its still gona be hard ive already seen people say this but idk if it will work for long but people can buy gift cards and use thoes ass means of paypment that gets threw processing i just dont know how long thats gona work we need to stand up to bullshit lobbys like this

No, Itch deindexed all NSFW content. They literally used those words. Just try searching by the adult tag and see how little comes up now.
They also updated their adult content section to have what card processors don't allow.

Some asses that defended pedophilia in movies, got backlashed to hells and back are now salty that other people can do the same somewhere else and are pu(ni)shing people behind card payments to push other, bigger companies to shadowban everything they wanted to do... But instead of using real children like they do, it's all harmless fantasy in "some weirdos head". The worst that could happen from games like these is to "create" more pedos, but i'm pretty sure they are made way before they know what internet is, let alone 18+ games.
Anyway, i hope all comes back to what it was and i really hope bigger people would stop being afraid of some big-people-wanna-bes, angry, loud and most certainly wrong people..

This is a sad day on itch.io, I loved buying games on this platform. I own(ed) Business is Loving on itch.io, and now I will no longer have access to free updates to the game I bought. This is very upsetting.
I hope it returns soon, but it's all out my hands now. :/

Man that's a shame. While I don't know any other places that'd preserve your comics, JASTUSA is probably your best bet if you want to sell your games outside of making your own website. Those dudes are based and it wouldn't hurt to try. Best of luck going forward and this website has never had a good search engine to begin with. Even before they started stomping down, you couldn't find what you were looking for by name of the creator or title of the game alone.
While it sucks the game won't show up in the search function, people can still share it's link, download the game, and get news from you and updates so long as they're following you. I would love to support all the nsfw creators from here that I love to play, but unfortunately don't have that much income. Stay strong, encourage people to follow your account on here so they can still get updates, and to share your games with like minded individuals.

Oh I didn't know that - when I look at the page it tells me:
This game's files have been suspended by an itch.io administrator.
I'm glad at least people who bought it are able to access it - though apparently I can't.
Even if you can still can download your bought game, Dead End Games will eventual update the game to v.15.2 and up, so your current downloadable game will be outdated.
Yo, so if you did not get the notif that the game has been 'Suspended' removed or otherwise deleted, it should be alright. All of us are under this blanket Adult content deindexing at the moment, which is a temporary measure as they announced.
If you do get actually deleted though, that's another story.
I really hope that’s the case - but when I was banned of Patreon I was “suspended” for a good week until they banned me out right… I guess I’m a little paranoid this is the same thing.

Most of my comics, even the free ones were banned today and I spend the day looking for another site to sell my stuff, is happening the same as Gumroad, I'm currently moving my comics to Payhip but is really sad for us the NSFW creators to lose another site, let's hope for the policy to change and make them realize that they are also losing gainings that comes from us( I'm not talking about the site's owners of like itch.o or gumroad but the people that is causing these changes of policy against nsfw on the sites)
